Chula Vista police Sunday had no leads in the case of a 20-year-old motorist who was killed early Saturday after being forced off the road by a man who was chasing her in his car. Maria
Guadalupe Ceroa of San Diego was killed instantly when her car flipped about 4:30 a.m., police said. Ceroa and a friend were returning home from a class reunion when a man in a light-colored
car began harassing them as they drove. At a stoplight, the man got out of his car and threatened the two women. Anxious to shake the man, Ceroa drove off, but the man followed her. He had
several passengers in his car, police said. At Broadway and C Street in Chula Vista, the men forced Ceroa off the road and her car flipped, crushing her. Ceroa’s 20-year-old passenger was
not seriously injured, police said. Police have asked that any witnesses contact Officer Tom Everett with the Chula Vista police traffic division. MORE TO READ
