Margaret Doherty, 60, died in a car crash involving actor Matthew Broderick in Northern Ireland last year--Tuesday called the star’s $175 fine for reckless driving “a travesty of justice.”
Gallagher said he found it “incredible” that Northern Ireland’s director of public prosecutions agreed to drop a more serious charge of causing death by careless driving. “I am very angry. I
believe there has been a travesty of justice--what happened has been equated to a minor motoring offense,” Gallagher said. The actor was fined Monday by Enniskillen magistrate Robert Porter
