The Police Department’s first citizens academy class holds its graduation ceremony Thursday at City Hall. The class of 25 community activists, who were invited to attend the 10-week program,
went through seminars and role-playing activities on patrol procedures, firearms handling, internal affairs, community-oriented policing and other topics. Chief Vincent Giampa said the
