Alison Hammond is set to embark on a new television project as she excitedly told her followers "let's hit the road". The 50-year-old TV star, known for her bubbly presence
on This Morning, has been juggling multiple high-profile roles. Since stepping into the presenter role for the Great British Bake Off in 2023, Alison has taken the reins of For the Love of
Dogs, continuing the legacy left by Paul O'Grady over the past year. Moreover, January saw the debut of Alison Hammond's Florida Unpacked on BBC Two and the recent launch of Alison
Hammond's Big Weekend earlier this month. In her latest programme, audiences can watch Alison interact with celebrities such as Perrie Edwards and Luke Evans, exploring locales that
have shaped them, reports the Manchester Evening News. Article continues belowREAD MORE: Call The Midwife breaks silence on claims star was 'disrespected' following exitREAD MORE:
'I met my partner on Mastermind and you won’t believe where we had our first date' Never one to shy away from a challenge, it has now been revealed that Alison's fresh
endeavour involves hosting Channel 4's new series Your Song. This heartfelt series aims to provide everyday Britons an opportunity to perform songs that hold personal significance to
them. Echoing the format of The Piano by the same creators, Love Productions, this six-episode journey will feature Alison travelling across the nation. Sharing her thrill for the upcoming
show, Alison articulated: "I love the power that music, and singing your heart out has. "It can change your mood – put a smile on your face, make you sad, make you reminisce. So
I'm really excited about this new show, about real people telling us their stories through song. Let's hit the road." A synopsis for the show reads: "Alison Hammond will
bring her trademark compassion, humour, and unique ability to connect with our singers – encouraging them to open up and tell their story. "With its signature pop-up stage, Your Song
will travel into the bustling heart of some of the UK's most vibrant towns and cities, offering amateur singers the chance to perform in front of a packed crowd – often for the very
first time. Following Alison's revelation that she shed over 13 stone, the buzz only grew. She attributed her transformation to frequent sessions with her personal trainer as she shared
with Bella magazine. The ITV star said: "I've lost a lot of weight. I can remember being nearly 30st, and now I'm in the 17/16st 7lbs range. Article continues below
"I've got a personal trainer - she's amazing. She trains me when I can train. If I'm working, I don't train. I'll go for a walk. "But when I'm at
home, I'll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week." _THIS MORNING IS AVAILABLE TO WATCH ON ITVX._
