right now(Image: Andrew Teebay) Dunelm is currently running a huge sale with up to 50% off selected items. One item that's caught shoppers' attention is the Torres Global Washable Rug which

is said to be "exceptional" quality for the current price, with some shoppers claiming it makes the space feel bigger.

The rug comes in cream and grey colour options, with the smallest size (80cm x 160xm) starting at £35, and running up to a 200cm x 320cm size which is priced at £155. All sizes are currently

available in cream, however, only the smallest size of the grey rug is in stock at the time of writing.

The Torres rug is made of a 'soft touch polypropylene blend' and is actually machine washable, making it ideal for family households or high traffic areas. Dunelm also stocks the Gabriella

Washable Rug in several colours starting from £29, as well as the Snuggle Washable Rug, starting from £28 (both with a 20% discount).

Over at Next, there's currently a '10% off two or more selected furniture' deal which includes the Light Natural Premium Cosy Shaggy Rug, starting at £29 to £475. Shoppers have described

this one as "thick and luxurious", however some have mentioned discrepancies in colour.

Dunelm's Torres rug offers a flatter design which is described as 'pet and child friendly'. On the website, it has a 4.5/5 star rating with 155 customer reviews.

One pleased buyer said: "Wow. This is an exceptional rug for the price, really good quality and a classy design that will fit any interior. The shade of cream is just right overall a great

buy."

On the other hand, this reviewer noted some issues: "Nice rug. bought in sand colour. Makes the room look much bigger and lighter. However, it wrinkles up a lot and have to keep pulling it

straight. Needs grippers underneath. Says washable but you would need a huge washing machine to do it at home. Bought it half price and think it is well worth the money but would not have

paid full price for it."
