times, and make the most of what Merseyside has to offer. Here’s what’s on this weekend: SOUTHPORT FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL Sunshine or not, Southport’s Victoria Park will be buzzing this


weekend with the smell of sizzling street food. The annual Southport Food and Drink Festival is back, and it’s a proper celebration of all things edible. Expect a line-up of global flavours:


crepes, churros, gourmet burgers, hot wings and more. On the producer side, you’ll find everything from chutneys and pickles to handmade cheeses and sweet pies. There’s also a strong


showing from local favourites, including traditional pies, sausages and ice cream from nearby dairies. Live music from local bands will add to the festival atmosphere throughout the weekend.
