her granddaughter Lilly Slater and her infant daughter to stay with former character Ryan Malloy. It’s been a rough period for Stacey Slater’s mum, having learned that her partner Harvey

Monroe was cheating on her with Kathy Beale. Just days after proposing to Harvey, Jean was played footage in the Queen Vic of him sharing a kiss with Kathy. Article continues below In scenes

that aired on Wednesday night (June 4), Kat Slater headed to No.31 to tell Jean, who had just got home, about her new business deal with Harvey . Noticing that Jean is still heartbroken by

what happened, Kat decided not to tell her to avoid upsetting her more. While this was going on, Alfie put his plans in place for a fake wedding shoot to promote their limo services and

later shared his desires to propose to Kat with Linda Carter. In a moment fans have been waiting months to see, Alfie proposed to Kat in their flat and she said yes for the fourth time.

Heading to the Queen Vic, the the newly engaged couple demanded Kathy and Harvey pay half of the wedding arrangements so the pictures can be used as promotion. Sadly, Jean arrived and

discovered the truth about the business deal, slapping Kat and ordering her out of her life. "You marry Alfie and change your name back to Moon. Because as far as I’m concerned, you’re
