03 Jun 2025Maya Jama is returning to host the 12th series(Image: ITV) Love Island is returning for its 12th series as a brand-new bunch of singles fly to Mallorca in the hopes of finding
love and bagging the £50,000 grand prize.
Known as the "CEO of love" Maya Jama will be reprising her role as host once again after taking over from Laura Whitmore back in 2023.
This series will mark the dating show's 10th anniversary since ITV first aired it on our screens. According to ITV, it has been streamed more than 2 billion times and the show has become
the most watched programme for 16-34 year olds on more than 400 occasions.
The line-up has officially been announced as 12 new singles are ready to find love in the sun. Here's who will be arriving on the island:

Islanders on their toes, but viewers at home can expect a switch up too.
Article continues below For this first time this year, fans can also choose to 'watch along' the launch show live with the hosts of Love Island: The Morning After either on ITVX or YouTube.
Host Maya Jama shared her most memorable moment on the show, as she said: "On the first Love Island: All Stars series when Callum came into the Villa and his ex Molly was the first
bombshell, that was a big moment. But also I love Movie Night as it is always full of drama!"
She added: "I love it when the show is live for the final because not only do you get the energy from the crowd, but it feels so much more personal talking to the viewers.
"This is a moment we have all been waiting for, so it's nice to feel we are all there together rooting for the Islanders."

at the same time.
Based on previous series, the show is expected to last around eight weeks meaning the final would be early August - but this is yet to be confirmed by ITV.

Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan won the last series. Unfortunately, the couple later split with Mimii taking to her Instagram to confirm the news.
