THE LATEST MAN UTD TRANSFER NEWS AND RUMOURS AS PEDRO GONCALVES FROM SPORTING CP CONTINUES TO BE LINKED WITH A MOVE TO OLD TRAFFORD. 15:30, 31 May 2025 Manchester United are reportedly

interested in Sporting CP star Pedro Goncalves as a potential replacement for Bruno Fernandes this summer. _The Manchester Evening News _understands that Fernandes is seriously considering

leaving United for Al-Hilal this summer. His agent, Miguel Pinho, has held discussions with the Saudi Pro League side about a possible £100million move and United have refused to rule out

his possible sale. It is claimed that Old Trafford chiefs are relaxed about Fernandes' situation. The club are prepared to listen to offers for any squad member after they finished 15th

in the Premier League, their worst top-flight finish since relegation in 1974. And Portuguese publication A Bola are now claiming that United are "considering making an offer" for

Goncalves. That proposition is tipped to increase if Fernandes is sold. The forward played as a left-sided No.10 under current United head coach, Ruben Amorim, at Sporting. Goncalves scored

81 goals and provided 57 assists across 190 games under Amorim. Sporting's position is that he can only depart if his €80million (£67million) release clause is triggered. It is said

that the Portuguese champions want to renew his contract, but they will wait to see if there could be any movements in the upcoming summer transfer window. Article continues below Amorim,

meanwhile, has shared his thought that Fernandes will choose to stay at M16 despite receiving a mega-money offer from Al-Hilal. Asked on Friday if the post-season friendly victory against

Hong Kong may prove to be Fernandes' final appearance for United, Amorim said: "I don't think so. "I don't know for sure - nobody knows - but I don't think so.

I think he's seeing us taking some actions to change things and that's all he asks. "I think he wants to stay. He's saying no to a lot of things, but that shows he wants

to win. He's really young, he's really good and he needs to be in the best league in the world." GET UNITED TRANSFER NEWS AND UPDATES ON WHATSAPP! Our team of Manchester
