I agree with you, sketch or wireframe must be able to communicate with designers, stakeholders, etc. My opinion is if you focus on products that need to be sent quickly to your customers
then using sketches is the best choice. But for this project, sometimes we need to provide a wireframe first instead of using a prototype, just to make sure we collect the full requirements.
