OVER A DECADE AND A HALF LATER, JADE GOODY'S SONS SADLY APPEAR TO HAVE DISTANCED FROM ONE ANOTHER AFTER THEIR DAD JEFF TOOK LEGAL ACTION EARLIER THIS YEAR AGAINST HER MUM JACKIEY 11:10,

05 Jun 2025Updated 11:10, 05 Jun 2025 It's been 16 years since Jade Goody's tragic death, and her heartbreaking final message to her sons will resonate more than ever on her

birthday today. The Big Brother star was tragically diagnosed with cancer while taking part in the Indian version of Big Brother, Bigg Boss, in 2008. Her ill-fated return to the British

house in 2007 was marred by racism allegations, which prompted her to make numerous apologies to both the public and co-star Shilpa Shetty. After discovering her diagnosis, she immediately

withdrew from Bigg Boss and flew back to be with her family. However, she continued to film reality shows and continue other work commitments in a bid to ensure that her then-young sons

would be financially secure in the future. Prior to her death, 27-year-old Jade passed on a sad letter to her sons Bobby (21) and Freddy (20) - who she shared with TV presenter Jeff Brazier.

She attached the message to a photo album she created for the then-four and five year olds. She wrote: "Dear Bobby and Freddy - I have asked for this book to be made so that when you

are older, you can remember just how much fun we had. Article continues below "I thank God that we made the most of our time together, and I treasure the moments we shared. These are

the most precious moments. "Some person much wiser than me once said that if you never discovered something you would die for, then you haven't lived. Well, you are both proof that

I have lived, I I will always. Mummy." Jade died in her sleep at her home in Essex in the early hours of March 22 2009, with her mum, husband and family friend Kevin Adams at her

bedside. Her funeral was held at St John the Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, on April 4, though her sons didn't attend. And over a decade and a half later, Jade's sons

sadly appear to have distanced from one another after their dad Jeff took legal action earlier this year agianst her mum Jackiey. Earlier this week, Freddy is said to have failed to turn up

to Bobby's 22nd birthday on Monday and is believed to be living with his nan, despite Jeff's attempt to "protect" his youngest son. It comes after Freddy appeared to defy

his dad by posting a TikTok video of himself and Jackiey larking around in the sunshine in her garden in South London. There was "sadness" at Bobby's bash after Freddy failed

to appear, with a source claiming that Bobby spent the day with dad and stepmum, Kate, The Sun reported. A source said: "Bobby celebrated his birthday with dad Jeff and step mum Kate

over the weekend. It was a really nice family occasion, but everyone really missed Freddy." Since Jade's death, Bobby and Freddy have been raised by their doting dad, Jeff, who

heartbreakingly admitted he didn't see much of his youngest son when the pair appeared in Celebrity Race Across the World last year. According to the Mail on Sunday, Freddy is now

living with Jackiey at her flat in Bermondsey. Those reportedly close to the family told the publication: "Jeff was never going to keep Freddy away from his Nanny for very long –

they've always had a strong bond. Jeff may hate her for all sorts of reasons going back many years, but Freddy loves her very much." The source added: "They had a great time

together, playing with her dog and catching up at her flat – where he has often stayed over the years. Whatever Jeff hoped to achieve with his legal efforts, it hasn't worked."
