18:44, 22 Oct 2024 A toxicology report on the late Liam Payne's body has reportedly not been completed yet. The singer passed away, aged 31, on Wednesday last week while in Argentina.

Police and prosecutors are reportedly continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the dad-of-one falling to his death from the third floor of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires.

A post-mortem examination is said to have so far determined that he died from 'multiple injuries'. According to Sky News, a representative of the public prosecutor's office

met with his father Geoff Payne, who is in the country, to update him on the investigation into Liam's death. It reports that Andrés Esteban Madrea told him that toxicology and

histopathological exams have not yet been completed and their results are said to be needed before the body can be released to the family. It comes following the news earlier that

preliminary toxicology findings have come back which show that he died with cocaine in his system. It is not known what amount of the drugs were found in the body. And as reported by the

Mirror, final toxicology results are still pending and may not be made public for a few weeks. As previously reported, materials extracted from Liam's body in an autopsy following his

death on Wednesday had "determined the presence of the class-A drug", according to news portal Infobae. ABC News claimed that among those substances was "pink cocaine",

which contains a lethal mixture of drugs including MDMA, ketamine, methamphetamine, cocaine, benzodiazepine and crack. Article continues below Users can reportedly be faced with significant

experiences such as anxiety, paranoia, panic, and hallucinations. Just days ago, it was reported that One Direction star Liam died on the spot due to multiple injuries including a skull

fracture after plummeting from the hotel balcony. As reported at the time, preliminary autopsy results, seen by Clarín, say Liam's death was caused by "multiple trauma" and

"internal and external bleeding". According to local reports, the examination was carried out late on Wednesday at the Supreme Court morgue and was conducted by two forensic

from multiple injuries after the fall. It's been reported that lead investigator, Prosecutor Marcelo Roma, has called for histopathological, biochemical and toxicological studies to be

carried out, to confirm whether the singer was drugged and intoxicated. As reported at the time, with results expected to take between 10 to 15 days, Argentina's National Criminal and

Correctional Prosecutor's Office is reportedly currently treating his death as 'inconclusive'. It's been suggested in the media that Liam's funeral could be held

next month, with there speculation that the investigation may be concluded in a matter of days. However, his family may have to endure an inquest into Liam's death back in the UK. Liam

is survived by his son Bear, seven, who he shared with ex Cheryl.
