KIDNAPPING 13:54, 04 Jun 2025 Three sisters, who were all under the age of 10, were tragically found dead on a campsite following a scheduled three-hour visit with their dad. Chilling

their father, Travis Decker, 32. A search was carried out to find them, and their lifeless bodies were found on Monday near a campsite west of Leavenworth, Washington. At around 3.45pm on

the same day, police found Decker's truck. The girls' bodies were located approximately 75 to 100 yards away from the truck, with the Seattle Times also reporting that each girl

disturbingly had a plastic bag over their head, with zip ties around their wrists. In addition, the tailgate of Decker's vehicle is said to have had two bloody handprint marks, reports

Fox 13. Inside the vehicle, personal items were reportedly found, including blankets, car seats, food and a wallet. READ MORE: Public warned 'do not approach' Travis Decker after

straight to voicemail. Captain Brian Chance from the local constabulary revealed that the mother "expressed concern because Decker reportedly had never done this before and "is

currently experiencing some mental health issues." Captain Chance further noted: "What prompted her to call us was that ... he was late returning the girls and had not communicated

to her that he was going to be late, which was his typical fashion and so this was out of the ordinary." Following the gruesome discovery of the bodies, four missing persons

investigations were swiftly launched, with Decker now identified as a suspect in the murder and kidnapping probe. The investigation is still underway, as confirmed in a police press

briefing, where it was also revealed that Decker and the girls' mother are divorced. Decker moved to the Washington National Guard eight years after enlisting in the army. He served

full-time in the Guard for two or three years before transitioning to part-time in 2024. Article continues below However, the military confirmed that Decker had stopped attending compulsory

monthly drills over a year ago, and the Guard was in the process of issuing a disciplinary discharge for him. Karina Shagren, Washington Military Department spokesperson, said: "This is

an absolute tragedy. We are mourning along with the community."
