Futurabond NR is a new a dentine-enamel bond reinforced with nanofillers. This self-etching adhesive from VOCO is suitable for all light-curing restoratives. According to the manufacturers,

nanoparticles acting as cross-links reinforce the bond and the hybrid layer, increasing its adhesion to enamel and dentine. The company claims that the minute size of the nanofillers allows

them to completely penetrate the collagen net and tubules and contribute to high adhesion. Since the nanofillers in Futurabond NR are very small and act like a liquid, it is not necessary to

shake the bottles prior to application. The new Easydrop bottles with defined drop sizes guarantee precise dosing of both components and being moisture-tolerant, this bond is less

technique-sensitive and the product is applied in 40 seconds. READER RESPONSE NUMBER 52 RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS Reprints and permissions ABOUT THIS ARTICLE CITE THIS ARTICLE New
