study provides experimental evidence of the pathogenicity of these antibodies in this disease. The researchers conclude that human anti-PLA2R1 antibodies have a pathogenic role in membranous
nephropathy. However, they comment that their data do not exclude the possibility that other factors in the plasma of patients may also contribute to the development of the disease. This is
