At a time when the horrific incident of an APDCL employee being electrocuted in the high voltage wires at Biswanath in Assam is yet to die down, another employee of the power department had

According to information, power supply was cut off at Hawaipur in the district for the last two days. To rectify the problem, two employees, Jaiuddin and Mukunda Mudoi were employed in the
job. The duo had cut off the power supply and then went to the transformer to work on the repair. As they were on the job, some negligent worker had switched on the power supply. As a
result, Jainuddin was killed on the spot while the other had a providential escape. Meanwhile, locals have demanded proper inquiry into the whole matter and adequate compensation to the
