GUWAHATI: The Assam Rifles on Sunday said that swift action by security forces has successfully de-escalated the unrest in the Imphal Valley of Manipur, leading to visible progress in
restoring peace and normalcy in the region. In response to the recent escalation of violence and protests that disrupted the fragile peace in the region, approximately 300 personnel from

off your knowledge! Following the resurgence of turmoil, the security forces received a requisition from the state police department for deployment of troops in various parts of Imphal
Valley to assist in maintaining law and order and restoring peace, it added. The security forces promptly responded, deploying personnel at prominent locations in the valley, including
Sanjenthong, Khurai Lamlong Bridge, Thongju Bridge, Koirengei, Kangla Western Gate, Keishampat, Chungtham, Salam Mayai Leikai, Konthujam, Mayang Imphal, Hiyangthang, Nambol, Mantripukhri,
Babupara, Wangjing, Thoubal and Lilong of Imphal East, Imphal West and Thoubal districts, it said. This swift action, coordinated between central and state security forces, has led to a
