Malayalam theatre actor, Malavika Mohanan has bagged the lead role in Legendary Iranian Filmmaker, Majid Majidi’s _Beyond The Clouds_. The film is based in India and will be extensively shot
in Mumbai. Interestingly, the audition pictures of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone had earlier gone viral on the internet, leading to a speculation about her bagging the same role in the
film. However, putting all the rumours to rest, acclaimed director Majid Majidi has specially handpicked Malavika, a daughter of renowned cinematographer K.U Mohanan, for playing his
