Easter is just around the corner, and Hôtel de Crillon pastry chef Matthieu Carlin brings you the Butterfly Pâtisserie Easter Collection of praline eggs, chocolate bars, Sicilian pistachio
cake, strawberry charlotte, chocolate religieuse and a revisited flan. In the splendid setting of theHôtel de Crillon and the BUTTERFLY PATISSERIE, pastry chef MATTHIEU CARLIN unveils his
latest creations. This year, the chef offers not only Easter eggs, but also two chocolate bars and three pastries. Lovers of chocolate will be delighted. TraditionalEaster eggs from include
three different flavors: ŒUF PRALINÉ À LA PISTACHE with 42% milk chocolate, praline heart with Sicilian pistachios, caramelized pistachios and fleur de sel ; ŒUF PRALINÉ CROUSTILLANT AMANDE
NOISETTE with 66% dark chocolate, praline heart with almonds and hazelnuts, crunchy gavottes and fleur de sel ; and ŒUF PRALINÉ AMANDES ET ÉCLATS DE CACAO with 66% dark chocolate, an almond
praline heart and crunchy cocoa bean chips. The pistachio praline egg, our personal favorite, is a must-try, with its melting praline. Each egg is available for sale at 30€ each, and a pack
of 3 at 80€. We also tried the PISTACHIO AND Ligurian ORANGE BLOSSOM CAKE with Sicilian pistachio gene bread and Ligurian orange blossom chantilly. If you don't like orange blossom,
don't bother, as it's quite present, but it goes very well with pistachio cake. This sweet treat is available in stores for €42 each, and is perfect for sharing. MATTHIEU CARLIN
