Play all audios:

A farm, in Paris, yes, you read that right, and it's the brand new unusual activity that the Parc de la Villette will offer, with the opening of its brand new farm on Saturday 8 and

Sunday 9 July, with a weekend of free activities on the program! Calling all BUDDING FARMERS: a farm is about to open in the heart of Paris, in the 19th arrondissement. So, to find a home

for these animals rarely seen in the capital, the PASSAGERS GARDENS in the PARC DE LA VILLETTE are offering a new space, as playful as it is educational, FROM JULY 8. Come and meet QUOQUINE

(19) and LERMINETTE (24), two DONKEY GRANNIES who have come to spend the sweet days of their retirement at the PARC DE LA VILLETTE, BUT you'll also have the chance to meet GOATS,

OLD-BREED CHICKENS, DWARF RABBITS ... Every day, SÉBASTIEN, the resident farmer (pictured), takes care of them, feeding them, playing with them, brushing them and cleaning their pens. At the

farm, ANIMAL WELFARE IS PARAMOUNT: the animals have been able to adapt to their new environment for many weeks, ethological techniques (the scientific study of animal behavior) are used to

accustom them to medical care, and the number of visitors to the farm is limited, for the well-being of the boarders too. In fact, for the farm's opening weekend, a large number of

visitors are expected: we advise you to arrive as early as possible (opening at 3 p.m.) to be sure of discovering Coquette or Pépé the hens, Lerminette and Quoqine the donkeys, Tango and

Jojo the rabbits... So, to celebrate the arrival of this long-awaited farm in Paris' most family-friendly of parks, LITTLE VILLETTE is organizing a whole WEEKEND OF FREE ACTIVITIES on

SATURDAY JULY 8 AND SUNDAY JULY 9, 2023, FROM 3PM TO 7PM. The farm will remain OPEN EVERY WEEKEND THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER, afternoons only, from 3pm to 7pm. What's on the agenda? Tours of

the farm, discovering its inhabitants... For little Parisians, it's the perfect opportunity to feel like they're on a farm in the heart of the capital, for an afternoon or a day

in the great outdoors. But be warned: your children may want to come back again, especially as NEW ANIMALS ARE EXPECTED in SEPTEMBER!
