Sentier district, with a fifth address called Pizzeria Popolare. Opened on March 16, this new restaurant with a whiff of Italy lives up to its name, with pizzas starting at 5 euros! Why is

pizza so expensive in Paris? Fans of Italian flavors have to pay a high price to enjoy this transalpine specialty in the capital. And the recent wave of Italian restaurant openings has only

served to reinforce the pizza hype, driving up prices in the process. But all that could well change with BIG MAMMA'S FIFTH TABLE, PIZZERIA POPOLARE. Already the owner ofEAST MAMMA in

Bastille,OBER MAMMA in Oberkampf, MAMMA PRIMI in Batignolles, and most recently BIGLOVE CAFFÈ in the Marais, the bistronomic group is once again creating a stir with the inauguration of this

PIZZERIA, WHICH OPENED ITS DOORS THIS THURSDAY, MARCH 16, 2017 at 111 rue Réaumur, IN THE SENTIER DISTRICT. Is this a new incarnation of the group's brands, headed by the duo VICTOR

LUGGER and TIGRANE SEYDOUX? Not quite, because with the opening of Pizzeria Popolare, the new kings of Italian cuisine in Paris intend to give pizza back its popular character, in other

words, accessible to all budgets. Here, PRICES START AT 4 EUROS FOR THE BASIC TOMATO BASE, topping out at 16 euros for the hearty black truffle and fresh truffle cream. In between, you can

opt forA MARGHERITA AT 5 EUROS, a four-cheese at 9 euros or a mussel and squid ink at 11 euros. All in all, the price range is well below those usually charged in Paris, as well as those of

the Group's other brands. So what do you get for this tempting price? It would appear that the recipe has not changed. The pizzas are still COOKED OVER A WOOD FIRE in ovens from Naples,

and the quality of the ingredients, which has made Big Mamma's reputation, is once again on the menu, with PRODUCTS IMPORTED DIRECTLY FROM ITALY, such as a "creamy burrata"

to be shared by 5/6! Of course, there are alternatives to pizza, such as beer-marinated chicken brochettes or a lobster bisque risotto, but you have to admit that at this price, it's a

shame to miss out! Add a little sparkle to your meal with a glass of Prosecco at 6.5 euros, a cocktail from 6 euros or a glass of Nora d'Avola red wine (a sure bet) at 4.5 euros. Like

the other addresses in the Big Mamma galaxy, Pizzeria Popolare is not only a feast for the eyes. Once again, the group has pulled out all the stops when it comes to decor, giving the place a

chic tavern feel with a facade entirely covered in liquor bottles. It's a way of saying that you can't just eat well here, you can also try no less than 500 different alcoholic

beverages from all over the world. A daring and successful stylistic choice, to be admired without moderation! What's more, for party-goers, the place offers live concerts from Thursday

to Saturday evenings, ending in clubbing mode until 2am. _PRACTICAL INFO _ _Pizzeria Popolare __111, rue de Réaumur, 75002 Paris Open daily for lunch and dinner Thursday to Saturday until
