The selfie-bug has bitten one and all, and if we humans can fall for it, well, so can elephants. While a number of selfies exist which have us posing with an elephant, this one was clicked
by it.Christian Le Blanc, a 22-year-old Canadian was on a vacation in Thailand when he offered bananas to some elephants he came across. An elephant he was feeding couldn’t get enough and
started nosing around for more.“Next thing I knew, it grabbed my GoPro by the mount and I got the selfie of a lifetime, which I can't take full credit for,” Le Blanc told CNN. The camera was
set to shoot continuously but Le Blanc did not rule out the possibility of the elephant knowing what it was doing, calling the picture an “elphie.”“Elephants are incredibly intelligent, and
it definitely makes you wonder if it was a conscious action," he was quoted as saying. Here is the picture from Le Blanc’s Instagram account: A photo posted by Christian LeBlanc
