General Elections in Araku are Gumma Thanuja Rani (YSRCP), Kothapalli Geetha (BJP), and Appalanarasa Pachipenta (CPI(Marxist)). As per the latest trends of counting of votes for 2024 Lok
Sabha elections, Congress' Gumma Thanuja Rani has Won Araku seat. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Araku seat was won by YSRCP candidate Goddeti. Madhavi, while TDP candidate
Kishore Chandra Deo had come in second place. In 2014's General Elections, Araku constituency was won by YSRCP candidate Kothapalli Geetha and TDP candidate Gummidi Sandhyarani was the
runner-up. Assembly seats that fall under Araku parliamentary constituency include Araku Valley (St), Kurupam (St), Paderu (St), Palakonda (St), Parvathipuram (Sc), Rampachodavaram (St),
