Sangalli poised for a big nightKalgoorlie MinerFri, 25 October 2013 12:37PMShare to FacebookShare to XEmail UsCopy the Link Local trainer-reinsman John Sangalli is poised to further build on

an already outstanding start to the Golden Mile Trotting Club’s 2013 campaign, underlined by Rockyourbaby’s return this evening after a short let-up.

The gelding resumes in the last and even off 70m, figures to be too strong over the 2518m journey.

Sangalli followed up four winning drives at the club’s October 4 meeting with a training double last weekend.

His other top chances are Deflector, a winner from three of his past four starts, Equivocate and Jodies Icon. It figures to be a potentially big night for Sangalli, who also has yet another

stable star, Mein Guy, engaged in the $25,000 Preux Chevalier Final (2130m) at Gloucester Park.

“I can’t complain (on the early success) and so far, it’s been a good season,” Sangalli said. “We’ve got some races we’re aiming for over the next couple of weeks, including the Village Kid

Sprint at Northam.

“We’ll probably be sending down three for that – Rockyourbaby, Mein Guy and Lennys In Heaven."
