For too long, Veterans and their survivors weren’t able to get the toxic exposure-related benefits and health care they deserve. But now, those days are over.
A new law called the PACT Act recently expanded VA health care and benefits for millions of Veterans and their survivors – including many area Vietnam era, Gulf War era, and Post-9/11
Veterans. Signed into law in August 2022, it is perhaps the largest health care and benefit expansion in VA history.
As part of VA St. Louis Health Care System’s commitment to spread the word about this new law, they are hosting a PACT Act Town Hall and VA Resource Fair. Veterans, their families,
caregivers, and survivors are encouraged to attend and apply for the health care and benefits they have earned.
VASTLHCS and the Veteran Benefits Administration (VBA) will be on site to provide information, answer questions, process claims, and hear Veteran feedback. Veterans, caregivers, and
survivors will also have access to resource tables, including Eligibility information, Whole Health, Women Veteran Programs, and more.
Veterans are asked to bring a copy of their DD214 and identification.
For Veterans who can’t make the event, the meeting will be viewable online at www.facebook.com/VAStLouis. For more information, visit VA.gov/PACT or
call 1-800-698-2411 to learn more about PACT Act-related health care and benefits.
