Police have issued an update after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed in a Birmingham park in broad daylight. The teenager was knifed in Ward End Park, Ward End, shortly before 5.30pm on Tuesday,

given trauma care at the scene before being rushed to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. In a new update, West Midlands Police told BirminghamLive this morning that
no arrests had yet been made. A force spokesperson said: "No arrests at this stage and are enquiries are continuing." A statement from force yesterday read: "We were called
to Ward End Park at around 5.30pm yesterday after a teenage boy was stabbed. “The 14-year-old was taken to hospital with injuries which are thankfully not thought to be life-threatening.
“Our investigation is at an early stage and we are carrying out a number of enquiries." A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a stabbing
in Ward End Park at 5.27pm. “An ambulance, trauma team and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance responded to the scene. “Crews arrived to find a boy who had sustained injuries
not believed to be life-threatening. “He was given trauma care on scene before being conveyed to hospital by land ambulance on blue lights and sirens for further treatment.” Anyone with
