against Inter Milan in Munich, Germany. A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Dax, in south west France, during a PSG street party, the national police service said. A man was also


killed in Paris when his scooter was hit by a car during PSG celebrations, according to the interior minister’s office. Police are investigating the circumstances of both incidents. A police

He was placed in an artificial coma because of grave eye injuries, the national police service confirmed. Hundreds of people were arrested during celebrations, which were largely peaceful


but descended into violence in some areas. At the top of the Champs-Elysees avenue, a water cannon was used to protect the Place de l’Etoile, near the landmark Arc de Triomphe. Police said a


large crowd not watching the match attempted to push through a barrier to make contact with officers. By 2am on June 1, 294 arrests had been made, including 30 people who broke into a shoe


shop on the Champs-Elysees. Two cars were also set alight close to Parc des Princes. There were joyous scenes at the Place de la Bastille as fans climbed on to the base of the column,


singing, dancing and letting off flares. Motorbikes loudly revved their engines and crowds cheered as they did laps around the column. By 1am, the atmosphere was said to be upbeat, with no


tensions and plenty of singing. Security had been tightened in anticipation of potential post-match violence. A huge 5,400 police officers were deployed on the Champs-Elysees, other key
