Viewers welcomed back 'Lorraine' on their television screens today (June 3) with Ranvir Singh assuming hosting duties. She stepped in for the regular face of the show, Lorraine

Kelly.

No sooner had the programme begun when Ranvir was keen to share some exciting news with morning TV audiences, revealing that Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo from Made in Chelsea have announced

they are expecting their first child.

"Beautiful news this morning. Jamie Laing's wife Sophie Habboo has posted that video in the last couple of hours, revealing the couple are expecting their first child," Ranvir announced

with delight. Sending her best wishes, Ranvir enthused: "Gorgeous stuff! Congratulations to them."

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning, Sophie posted a touching video clip from a recent ultrasound scan, choosing to caption it with just a heart emoji reports the Express.

In the touching video, an astounded Jamie can be heard exclaiming, "Are you kidding me?!" as Sophie beams joyfully, with the baby's heartbeat audible in the background.

Following their poignant reveal on social media, the popular reality TV couple has received a flood of congratulatory remarks and messages of goodwill. Dianne Buswell wrote: "Omg

congratulations guys so so exciting," and Vogue Williams joined in by saying, "Ahhhhhh delighted for you guys."

Molly-Mae Hague from Love Island added, "Congratulations, guys! ! !" whilst former Made in Chelsea colleague Lucy Watson contributed, "Exciting times to come. Congratulations."

Sophie, aged 30, and Jamie, 36, fell for each other on the set of Made in Chelsea and said their vows in 2023. The lovebirds initially had a legal ceremony in London before flying out to

Marbella for a lavish bash with their closest friends and family.

The pair have made a name for themselves with their popular podcast, Newly Weds, which has featured a glittering array of celebrity guests.

However, they've recently announced that their podcast will be taking a brief break. Following closely behind this news was the announcement that Sophie will be filling in for Vick Hope

on Jamie's Radio 1 programme Going Home while Vick is on maternity leave.

"I'm so excited to be joining the Radio 1 family... Turns out we're the first ever married couple to do it together, soooo I'm not too sure if that's a good thing or bad

thing - hopefully we don't argue on the radio! Get ready for the chaos - Catch you on Monday," Jamie posted enthusiastically to his Instagram fans.
