Ms Hingston revealed she had even found a way to adorn birthday and wedding cakes with the plants.
Sharee Brown, who is the owner of Swan Bay-based business, Laser Stuff, said she was another stallholder whose hobby had grown to become something larger.

"We can now engrave chopping and serving boards, jars, vases, and coasters with drawings of native animals, flowers as well as dogs and cats," she said.
Board member at WayFM - the event organisers - Jim Grey said the day had been a success and by 12pm about 1500 people had already been through the entry gate.
"Events like this are just a great day out, not only for stallholders, but for the community as well," he said.
