QUESTION ABOUT HIS CASTE. Salman Khan created a buzz on Wednesday with a fitting response to a question about his caste. The Dabbang star had to appear in the Court of Chief Judicial

Magistrate (CJM) in Jodhpur to record his statement in a case under the Arms Act. When the judge questioned his religious identity, he bluntly retorted by saying that he is an Indian!

According to reports, the judge of CJM Anupama Bijlani asked Salman Khan his name, father’s name, profession and other required details. But when the judge asked about his caste, the

49-year-old actor took a pause and said, “I am an Indian.” Salman’s answer stunned everyone present in the court. The magistrate judge kept on asking the same question saying that ‘Indian’

is not a caste. Salman replied, “My father (Salim Khan) is a Muslim and mother (Susheela Charak) is a Hindu. So I am Hindu-Muslim.” (ALSO READ: SALMAN KHAN IN TROUBLE AGAIN! PREM RATAN DHAN
