SANTA ANA — Novadyne Computer Systems Inc., a computer maintenance and hardware distribution company, said Thursday that it plans to move next year into a new $25-million headquarters here.
Novadyne is a former McDonnell Douglas Corp. subsidiary that was spun off as an independent company in a $65-million management buyout in July. The new 170,000-square-foot headquarters will
house Novadyne’s 400 local employees and will be across the street from its current headquarters on St. Andrews Place. Bert J. Novak, chairman and chief executive, said the company will
consolidate three crowded offices in Orange County into the new headquarters. The company hopes to move into the facility by October, 1991. The three-story building will be designed and
built by the Irvine division of Sverdrup Corp., a St. Louis-based contractor.
