The Mighty Ducks sent 10 players to their minor league camp in Baltimore on Monday, among them left wing Maxim Bets, whom they acquired from St. Louis, along with a draft pick, for all-star

defenseman Alexei Kasatonov two seasons ago.

It was an early cut for Bets, who was the 37th pick overall in the 1993 draft. He had only two goals and six assists in 36 games last season with minor league San Diego in the International

Hockey League, and two points in nine games with Worcester in the American Hockey League.

The Ducks’ roster is down to 42 and will probably be reduced to about 30 Thursday. Also sent to Baltimore were defensemen Scott Chartier, Mark DeSantis and Brian Corcoran and right wing

Craig Reichert. Five players who were in camp on tryouts will continue their auditions in Baltimore. They are goaltender Chad Lang, right wing Robert Melanson, defenseman Jan Mikel, center

Aaron Nagy and left wing George Zajankala.

Single-game tickets for the Ducks’ regular season will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at The Pond at Anaheim box office, as well as at TicketMaster outlets.

There have been 49 consecutive home sellouts, so a random distribution system will be used. Wristbands assigning fans at random to ticket lines will be given out from 8 a.m. till 9:30. The

parking lot will open at 7.

Fans arriving after 9:30 can buy tickets, first-come, first-served, after those with wristbands have been accommodated.
